Over 200 People Benefit As APC Chieftain Floats Free Eye Surgery In Ekiti

Free eye surgery About 200 people are benefiting from the free health program launched by a leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, Ayodeji Adarabierin, also known as Asipa.

Free Eye Surgery, During a program organized under Adarabierin’s platform called Asipa political family (APF), 60 people received recommended glasses while 12 underwent cataract surgery. In his remarks at Idolofin at Ado Ekiti, venue for the occasion, the group’s founder, Adarabierin revealed that he had committed around 2.5 million naira to the effort. The APC leader and candidate for the House of Assembly has said he wants to make life more abundant for his people whether they are in power or not.

Mr. Adarabierin said that the free health program was one of his intervention programs to give meaning to people’s lives, adding that scholarships and vacation training for students, agricultural interventions for farmers and sports will be given priority. He advised people to visit the doctor regularly saying the number of patients being diagnosed with other related problems during the free eye health program was alarming.

Also speaking about the Chairman of APC Ward Chairmen in Ekiti State, Mr. Kayode Oladimeji praised the initiator of Asipa political family, Mr. Adarabierin for the decision describing him as a good man of left. Additionally, Corp member Nonye Okoli, who oversaw the program, thanked Adarabierin for funding the program, saying it was timely for people to know their health status. Two of the beneficiaries of the free cataract surgery and eye health clinic explained that the program would help them meet their health needs. According to the animator of the political family of Asipa, Ayodeji Adarabierin, artisans, farmers and small traders would be captured in the next intervention program of the group.
