With much of Australia’s next cricket set to be played overnight, Finch said the real results of his operation will be confirmed.

“I see them pretty well (now). I only hit them inside on hard wickets. It’s all clear now, it looks perfect.

“I think the biggest test will come in the night games, that’s when I noticed the biggest difference in my eyesight.”
